Guess who's back?

Anyway, I HAVE returned a few days ago, but I was dead tired then so I kinda sort got lazy but not anymore. So here I am, updating :D

The title's not a joke, by the way. During Ramadan, I did went to Semarang, Central Java. A few days later, my dad called and want to spend time with us in Surabaya, East Java. So there we went, on a propeller plane for once, and the air was... damn clear. Sure, the lack of people there since everybody basically went to their hometowns for Ramadan, according to the Indonesian only tradition during Ramadan called Mudik (and apparently I've been doing that the whole time without realizing it )

Surabaya was fun, we stayed at the Sheraton Hotel, and next to it were FIVE different malls combined into one (holy shit you guys that place was HUGE)... Too bad we don't have enough time to go sightseeing (at least I saw the Croc vs Shark landmark that city has), since after that we went to Jogjakarta by plane (first time going there by plane too) and 'twas fun. Although, while everyone went sightseeing there (by that I meant my mother, her relatives, and my little sisters) I spend the whole day in the hotel we're staying writing a chapter of my fanfic. You may remember it, titled Rising unto the Stars, and it's already uploaded in Fanfiction.net

So, the next day we went back to Semarang, it was a LOOOONG trip, since we arrived at nighttime, starting to drive there around 9 AM ish, I think. After that, we just spent time there in Semarang, my littlest sister :iconyukiasahina: got herself a pair of glasses now, and I got a new frame for mine... And my eyesight decreased to 4.00 on both sides :XD:

Anyway, explaining the title: I was reading The Hobbit while I was there. Continuing where I left off months ago, but I feel that reading it and doing all those traveling makes me feel like Bilbo. Yeah, I miss all these comfortable things like internet connections and my video games, but in the end, it was quite a pleasant journey.

Now if you'd excuse me, I'll be reading Lord of the Rings. Specifically, the 50th anniversary edition where all the books are compiled into an 1100+ page book. Wish me luck ;)
